正邪莫辨的唐俪辞（罗云熙 饰）被昔日好友构陷，被迫卷入风流店颠覆武林的阴谋。他冷眼睥睨天下，以域外武学"往生谱"秘探十三楼，智斗剑王城，联盟碧落宫，入主中原剑会，与风流店对弈，但却在此过程中与池云、沈郎魂等人产生羁绊，也被群侠为守护苍生不计生死的血性所感染，最终选择肩负起江湖未来使命 。剧集改编自知名作者藤萍的经典武侠小说《千劫眉》。
在东京都板桥区一间名叫“赤冢”的秘密侦探事务所里，有些好色的侦探“刺猬”七濑五郎（瑛太 饰），与搭档“老灰”木暮（森田刚 饰）接手各种委托，有时是令人感动的悲哀故事，有时是超乎想象的非自然事件。这天，他正在事务所楼下的小吃店和打工小妹萌美扯闲篇儿时，天花板突然发出奇怪的敲击声，那是所长风香露（山口智子 饰）发出的暗号，五郎急急忙忙返回事务所。这次找到侦探所的委托人是个叫川田的男人，他要求侦探们帮他寻找一个月前去世的女儿……
10 years after Martin Shaw turned the beloved Inspector Gently novels into a hit BBC One TV series, filming has begun on two final feature-length episodes. Back in action one last time will be Shaw as the eponymous inspector, who is tested like never before just as he winds down his career. In the first of two films - Gently Liberated - the inspector and his trusted allies Bacchus (Lee Ingleby) and Coles (Lisa McGrillis) are brought in to investigate a possible "miscarriage of justice". However, their final case in Gently and the New Age has the Met's new Special Investigations Squad boss Lister bringing in the inspector to investigate high levels of corruption within the force. Both of these mini-movies will be set in 1970, as the women's liberation movement and the rise of the Conservative Party bring clashing values to Britain.
