本片讲述了民国年间，江南某村落因接连发生离奇命案，后来慢慢变成了方圆百里闻名的“封门村”。故事着重讲述了警察万枫和记者李穆在封门村逐渐探究真相，并破除封建迷信的故事。

Steve and Susan Ireland are about to celebrate their 4th wedding anniversary by re-enacting their first date. When Susan's meddling mother interrupts and injures herself. Steve is left to take care of her and when he meets an old flame in the elevator--Susan's mother takes the opportunity to break-up their marriage.
